It was Country Music Awards time recently, and Sugarland were in the hunt! Sugarland's once again to received the vocal duo award from the Country Music Association on November 12, 2008, making it 2 years on the bounce for the trophy. Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles also picked up an award for Sugarland's "Stay." Among other Country heavy-hitters Kenny Chesney once more was recipient of the Country Music Association's entertainer of the year trophy. It was the 42nd annual CMA Awards and is proving to be a great tradition in Country music.
George Strait won the single of the year award for his "I Saw God Today". His "Troubadour" won album of the year, too! Brad Paisley was voted best male vocalist for the second consecutive year.
